Where Are the Kawaii Stores in Los Angeles, California?

These are the best places to shop for kawaii products in Los Angeles

I would consider myself pretty lucky to be living in California where I have access to a lot of physical shops that sell kawaii products. I wasn't aware of the lack of accessibility in a lot of areas in the United States. So if you are looking for a new kawaii shop to visit or are a visitor, here are some of my recommendations for purchasing some super cute stuff. Below are some cute stores I recommend that are currently opened at the time of this post. 

Here's the list:

1. Sanrio

Although Sanrio has ceased operations in many states, they still have physical stores in California. One of the locations is located in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. This Sanrio is a cute store to visit, but doesn't have a lot of stock compared to my favorite location. My favorite Sanrio location is the one inside the Arcadia mall. It's also small, but you don't have to deal with downtown Los Angeles traffic and there's plenty of parking.

2. Morning Glory

Morning Glory is a Korean stationery store that also sells tons of cute goodies. Although they sell a lot of notebooks, stickers, pens, and pencils, they also sell stuffed animals too. Items may vary depending on location. Nowadays, I usually see Morning Glory in malls. Below is the location I recommend:

3. Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle

Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle is another cute store that sells anime goods and other Japanese related items. However, they also sell some cute plush and other knick-knacks that I would consider kawaii. They are also generally located in malls. One of the locations below is actually part of Orange County and not Los Angeles:

4. JapanLA

I stumbled upon JapanLA online. They have a website where they sell lots of kawaii items, but did you know that they also have a physical store? I've personally never been to the actual store, but looking at the selection they have online, it looks like a promising place to purchase cute items. Here is their location
